Corpus Callosum | what is?

The primary function of the Corpus Callosum is to integrate motor, sensory and cognitive performances between the cerebral cortex on one side of the brain to the same region on the other side. It consists of about 200 million axons that bridge the two hemispheres of the brain.

The Corpus Callosum effectively allows the two sides of the brain (left and right hemispheres) to communicate and create a useful view of the world.
