Perceptual Influences are a series of forces (i.e. peers, colleagues, your partner, mentors, the mass media, religious institutions, governments, schools, etc.) all of which influence the way you see, experience, perceive and interact with the world. Their influence on your life through your behavior, choices and decisions may not be evident, but it’s most definitely there.
You effectively are who you are today based on the perceptual influences that have shaped your life. And you will continue to change and evolve based on the perceptual influences that will shape you in the years to come.
