Metaphysics is a traditional branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world it encompasses. Metaphysics actually encompasses everything that exists, as well as the nature of existence itself. It effectively poses the question of whether the world is real or whether it’s merely an illusion? It asks, what is ultimately there, and what it’s like?
Metaphysics attempts to understand the fundamental notion of the existence of objects and their properties including space and time, cause and effect and possibility. Moreover, it attempts to understand the fundamental structure, nature and dynamics of the universe.
