The Law of Planning states that for every minute you spend planning you effectively save 10 minutes in the execution of your activity. This law applies equally to large goals as well as to the daily and weekly tasks and projects you set yourself. The energy and time invested into your plan will pay you back with greater levels of efficiency in execution. However, do bear in mind that this law only applies up to a certain point. You will eventually reach a state where further planning will bring less value until it eventually becomes counterproductive. That is when you must stop planning and start taking action toward the accomplishment of your goal.
